The Pride of La Salle Band is all about becoming a better musician and a better person through dedication to an activity bigger than yourself. It will be very sad when my five year experience of band is over.
Being in band has provided me with an experience of a life time. I’ve had the opportunity to travel all across the country–from All-State Honor Band in Columbus all the way to marching in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California with the Bands of America Honor Band.
In 8th grade Mr. Fischer told me that every member was important to the success of the group. We don’t have a “bench” in the band and that’s what I love about this activity.
